Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Forney, an IHG Hotel

The location was great, the room was comfortable, and the staff was ok.

Hotel was great. You could def tell that it was understaffed for the amount of people staying there. Even being understaffed the people working were very friendly. The elevators were dirty, but it was right by the swimming pools. The trash was overflowing every day. These things were not bad to me....understandable when there is only a few people working, They were doing the best they could with what they had to work with. Our room was wonderful and very comfortable. It is in a great location and we really overall enjoyed our stay. Holiday Inn Corporate or owner needs to step up and get some people working, because those good people working and keeping your doors open will go somewhere else. I know I would. I might also mention that the staff never mentioned being short people, it was just an observation. It is a great place to stay and I would recommend. I felt safe, and the area is nice.

Breakfast was very good. Nice assortment of foods and the area was very clean. The servers were often out cleaning and refilling foods.l

The bathroom was above my expectations. It had a shower that was wonderful with new modern fixtures and a glass door that was on tracts and way more quality than is seen in most motels. The lavatory fixtures were also very up to date and unusual for a motel. The bed was comfortable.

I loved the location because it was an easy access to highway 80 West. I used highway 80 West to drive into the city of Dallas. The receptionist was polite on arrival. The receptionist (Jasmine) was polite on our departure. My husband enjoyed the breakfast.
